Square Terminal is a complete POS solution with a built-in receipt printer, designed to work best from a countertop, while still being compact and easily moveable.
Where can I buy Square Handheld?
You can buy Square Handheld from the Square Shop, or at online and local retailers. You can also buy Square Handheld directly from our sales team.
Does Square Handheld need Wi-Fi?
Square Handheld requires connection to a Wi-Fi network with access to high-speed internet.
Pair with a personal hotspot on your phone or a mobile broadband device (Mi-Fi) when Wi-Fi is not available. You can also use offline payments1 to keep taking payments for up to 24 hours without Wi-Fi or internet. Additional terms apply.
Can I print with Square Handheld?
Yes, Square Handheld can print receipts or kitchen tickets by connecting via Wi-Fi to a network printer. Barcode labels can be created and printed from Square Dashboard.
How long does the battery last?
Square Handheld has a battery designed to last all day, so you can power through an entire shift.
